I came across this emulator of the old, out-of-print, solitaire Avalon Hill boardwargame recently.  The original game was a rather brutal simulation of the perils of 8th Air Force B-17 bombing missions over Europe during World War 2. This program was written by Preston V. McMurry III in 2005, and includes a couple of variants that had been previously published for the original board game, B-24 and Avro Lancaste.  You can download this emulator from here:  https://github.com/Hawke/B17QoTS.  For Windows.
